The owner, Jean, was attentive to our taste and food preferences. In the evenings, we were served scones and coffee in the beautiful parlor room with a calming fire and breathtaking view. The room we stayed in was huge with high ceilings and a top-notch bathroom. It was the finest experience we have ever had in a B&B. “This is an exceptionally beautiful and comfortable country house and possibly one of the best Bed and breakfasts we have ever stayed in. Set in gorgeous countryside this early 19th century mansion has spacious rooms that look out over the Rollinghills towards the mountains. The breakfast is lovely but what makes it exceptional is the charming host who Makes you feel so at home. This is a place I’m keen to return to. I heartly recommend a stay here. A traditional country B&B done to a fantastic standard, the host Jean was so welcoming and kind. The the house was spotless, the breakfast, tea and barmbrack were lovely, and the three joyous dogs pottering around outside were a personal favourite. Definitely recommend popping in and staying a night or two!”
